Having launched 6 months ago SoulBrew Karaoke has fast become one of the most entertaining nights out in London with crowds of all ages, races, sexes and styles flocking to Brick Lane's Vibe bar for their 15 minutes of fame.

Pretty much anyone that has bought a record or gone to a concert has dreamed of being on stage with the force of a band behind them, a crowd in front of them and a mic in their hand. SoulBrew are bringing you all that chance no matter whether you can sing or not as the SoulBrew band play soul classics from all era's with you in the spotlight belting out the lyrics to anything from Beyonce to Jocelyn Brown.

While the singers may be amateurs the band most certainly are not. A dynamic London-based funk-and-soul band, the members have been playing, recording and touring together for over five years and have performed and recorded with such artists as Craig David, Alice Russell, Kasabian and Courtney Love, not to mention legendary disco outfit Odyssey) at venues such as The Jazz Café, Hammersmith Apollo, Shepherds Bush Empire and at festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park and V while also touring throughout Europe, America, Asia and Australia.

With the band and singers all doing their thing on the 1 st floor the icing on the cake is downstairs where SoulBrew founders and residents Spin Doctor & Andy Bird are joined by special guests who all bless the dance-floor with their usual party selection of all the platters that matter from Soul through to House stopping off at Hip-Hop & Disco on the way.

After the huge success of the Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin specials the decision has been made at SoulBrew towers to mark every other month with a specially themed night. In May this will be dedicated to the sounds of the man of the hour Michael Jackson (not forgetting his brothers in the 5) while June's date will be dragging people in from the BBQ in the Vibe Bar court yard with a disco special that pay tribute to the sounds of Salsoul and Studio 54 with everything needed for a disco spectacular.
